About gems

Hey folks,

i wonder if the order of your gems count. Let's say you inlay one lvl 3 dizzy gem and one lvl 2 dizzy gem. So the gems in their groundstats count as following: 5% lvl 3, 2% lvl 3.
If you inlay both it should be 6% since your second gem does only count 50% of its original. But what if it you inlayed your lvl 2 gem first, is it then 4,5% since the lvl 3 counts 50%?

Does anyone know something about that?

I was kind of curious about this as well, like if it goes by slot. I wish there was a way to see your stats and percentages, that would be super helpful.

If you read the "!" in the inlay gem building, it will say that, gems don't stack up (exception is Life Gem, I tested 2 and they do stack).

If I remember it correctly, you will get the lower % instead of the higher level, so it is advisable to not use two gems of the same kind.

If I am wrong, someone can correct me.

I believe it stacks but not fully. Ie. Using 2 x level 2 fortification gem will not give you 6% but somewhere between around 4-5%.

You will see a lot of Level 45s using 2 x Level 5 green gems.

It does not matter what order you put the gems in. You will get 100% effect of your higher lvl gem and 50% of the effect of your lower lvl gem if they are both the same kind.

Is there any way to farm gems?

Gems are normally farmed in Adventure mode.

I wrote it somewhere but couldn't find it on the forum but here it is again:

Loeffing Boulevard: Life gem
City of Eversnow: Ice gem
Leafy Spring: Frailty gem
Fire Valley: Agility gem
Black Snow Mountain: Fortification gem
Snowcloak Cliff: Dizzy gem

Fighting non-boss battles seem to have a higher drop rate for these gems.
