General wonderment O_o

Don't know if this is in the right forum but I just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed any of these things.

I know this is a good thing but when I am attacked and lose a battle, the castle resources always lose a certain percentage of the max. I always wondered why the fort resources are not "looted". Anybody else notice this?

Another thing is when I attack someone thru the prison cells, I noticed another weird thing. I was able conquer the castle troops but lost to the fort. There were casualties to both my castle and fort troops but the odd thing is when I check my units in my fort, I still had all my units despite seeing them die in the replay. What's up with that?

i've noticed it too, before it use to half everything including unit production on your castle and not your fort as well but i think they stopped doing that for units. but i think its a way to help compensate for the fort not being able to capture people therfore cannot gain any extra resouces. or it could be a complete oversight on camel games part

I guess I could post it in here as another general wonderment.

How much gold/crystal do you guys have? I've been playing since May and I've come to a point where sometimes I don't even bother producing gold/crystal. I sometimes transport my resources in my fort just to have 20% less...lol I'm even contemplating selling them just to "remodel" my empire.

I hope that Camel Games read our forums from time to time because I would really hope that they can find good use of the excess gold/crystal I'm sure everyone has when they get to level 30 and up.

Oh right, I have about 2.5mil in gold and around 1.6mil in crystal on each account. I know it's not alot but I wanted to see where I stood against some of you guys on the forum.

PS - If you guys DO think I have alot, please don't attack me...lol

Before when it used to cost around 350k-450k gold to repair 7 pieces of high end gear, I had times where I was stressing my resource count.

Now that repairs are so cheap, it's like "I'm being attacked by someone way stronger than me? Meh, go ahead and take 400k of my resources, w/e".

This really. I've considered leaving my castle unguarded because it is more of a hassle to reproduce units than the loss of resources.

The leader of the clan I'm in has over 7 million gold. I'm not to that level yet, but it is easy to make gold on arena by minimizing losses.

I agree with the fact that they changed repair costs affected this big time. I used to fret when my gear needed fixed because I sometimes couldnt afford to repair it all. Now its like whatever. Same goes with being attacked. Although i do still guard my castle. I have 2+ MIll on my Castle 1.5 mil on fort, and 2+ mill crystal on both. Both my fort and castle each only have two gold mines and two crystal mines and the reason for even keeping those two is for the dailies.

i think it would be neat if there was something else we could do with gold and crystal, but the problem is if they make it so you can turn gold and crystal into anything adventagous it would become so ultra competitive that it would turn alot of people off of the game. can you imagine how many people would raid constently (including myself) if you could turn gold and crystal into mojo, spar, even honor points, it would be insane. i could see them maybe letting you change color of stuff for gold or crystal, but i dont think they could ever make it to give you an edge in battle. and im at like 3.9 mil gold for both castle and fort and well over 2 mil crystal for both

Very true. The PVP aspect of this game already sucks and turning it into a bigger gankfest would be annoying.

So here is another general wonderment.

How are arena formations determined? Because I was able to fight myself in the arena and sadly I was disappointed when I found out it wasn't my castle formation but just a computer generated formation.

I thought that was kinda lame imo. Because if it's a pc generated, at least choose better units or make them all Mages so that way I can get better exp.



This led me to make a suggestion in the update thread that there should be 2 arenas. One arena with 1 hero and another arena that allow 2 heroes and their formations. That way it could make fighting in the arena more interesting and allow us more practice against formations. Because the only practice I get are when I try to fight people through conquering/prison cells. And tbh, that sucks because I always have to wait.

I believe the auto-generated formations give me a false sense of hope. I feel like there will be people out there who think castle defense formations = arena formations. That will lead to alot of casualties if they ever find themselves fighting people through the prison cells under the notion that the formations are the same.
