The Buy-Mojo New Years Prize Scam Empty The Buy-Mojo New Years Prize Scam

I was going to make a bigger deal of this, but they took the offer down as soon as the complaints came in so I don't know now...

Many of us had been waiting for a new special offer to buy mojo and were upset when there was no Christmas offer. They had a very short New Years offer where you got a peace card, 2x exp cards and gold/crystal cards with a mojo purchase.

I bought $50 worth to get 2 packs and I very specifically bought them from my fort so that the exp cards would go to my fort. Instead they were delivered to my castle. I emailed them to ask them to move it to my fort. They said no and that they were getting many complaints. That was when they took down the offer.

I asked them to credit me for 200 mojo so I could buy the exp cards on my fort and they also said no. I'm considering going to Google to get my money back from this scam, but really don't want to have to go through the hassle.

Anyone else fall for it?

I'm not sure if this is really a scam. Since mojo is shared between the castle and fort the game doesn't really consider whether it was bought while you were in your fort or castle so it probably just sent it to the castle as a default. I don't believe the offer ever stated that the packs would go to the area that the mojo was bought from since its all the same account. I do believe that camel should have fixed it by giving you either 200 mojo or just moving it if that is possible but i do not believe this was an intentional scam.

I'm not saying it was intentional, but the fact that they pulled down the offer early due to complaints shows it was a serious issue that should have been rectified.

I'm mostly venting.
