Overleveling Empty Overleveling

Post by Eradeux Tue Feb 05, 2013 6:13 pm

Ok, so I just recently started. I bought mojo to help boost my wins in the arena. Right now I'm clearing arena battles 100% of the time(Auto fights). With my castle. (Zerker)

My fort hero though is a succubus. She has tons of trouble. I also got her the best gear/spells to her lvl but all my units get wiped and i'm forced to rebuild after every other battle. Which only allows me to do a few arena battles per hour, a lot of the time I get frustrated and don't use up most of my arena refreshes.

So I'm running into a problem where my main hero is getting a very high lvl, and incoming attacks from the same lvls are too powerful. My units are weak because I havent been able to upgrade them as much as i'd like. (Magic spar is rare) And when I farm it in arena, I just end up lvling higher! It's a vicious cycle.

Right now my main is 31 and my fort is 16. I want her to catch up to help me defend but if I stop lvling my main hero I miss out on spar and mojo. Any advice on what to do?

Buy double exp cards for your fort? Kinda sucks because mojo = money.

Not sure why you're buying any gear at all at level 16 unless you're rich IRL and play to spend a few hundred dollars on this game per year.

You could do tasks to level up faster on your fort.

If you do each arena manually and kill all the units, you'll get much more exp than by auto arena with just your hero.

What i did with my succubus on low lvl was use it as a tank. I would invest into defence and hp a little bit and place her in front. It was still a pain in the butt to farm her but using her as a tank definitely helped me.

Ohh, and i didnt do auto until late later.

The succubus is the harderst hero to level up early on, escpically since you cant really even auto arena with just her until level 28 or 30. I would recomend farming loueffing blvd level 1 for some good xp and just keep it up with the arena when you can. The higher you get the easier it will be to level her up, believe me.

This is a really bad idea. Do not waste honor points on defense or HP. Max attack.

She has trouble early on, but is by far the best hero late game.

Dont do that if you want to waste a lot of units in Arena, I didnt feel any pain or loss after investing little into defence and hp, it's acually pretty useful. It helped me farm Arena efficiently and didnt have that much problems with using all of my credits + you can reset your honor points, if you buy mojo ofcourse. But i dont feel like i should, lol

There really isn't anything you can do. Level 15-20 takes the longest time to level her up. It gets a bit easier one you get Iron Wheels but even then it takes time. Unfortunately, there is no fast way to leveling her up. My Succubus is level 37 and I can only do 4-6 rounds before I have to recruit more troops. (Not geared yet). It helps if you upgrade recruitment speed. I have it at level 5 and I think the -40% helps.

I dunno. I always have end game in mind. I wouldn't waste spar on things that don't matter at end game. Low levels can have a lot more units now than we could back then due to the leveling of houses now.

And yes, you can reset the honor points for a sizable chunk of mojo, but my third account succubus is doing just fine with only attack honor points. Got it to level 19 in roughly 2-3 weeks while only sinking a little time into it.

I got the same issues here, even though I was still on early lvl of 29 Behemoth and 14 Succubus, but the Spar management are getting tough. Putting it more on my castle and the Succubus gain will be really slow

Any tips on getting fast Spar? without leveling my empire too fast

I always have my jail cells full and have them do the 3 hour spar farming. Every once in a while I get lucky.

I release them after the first spar attempt though and try again with a new person. I tend to only keep them if they've already been raided thoroughly so that there is minimal chance at someone releasing them during the 3 hours or getting vengeance on me.

I release them immediately if I run into any castles that I get any sort of resources from.

My Succubus is already lvl 23 and gaining momentum since we last spoke. She is a killer. Now the question I have is what weapon should I upgrade to in between Unicorn to Red Dragon Soul.

Im torn between eye of darkeness and lost skull. If im waiting till 27 though, might as well wait out til 34 though?(And buy Frost crystal till then?) So tough...

Regarding spar, just level your accounts in pairs. Then one can repeatedly imprison the other and farm spar.

I went straight from Unicorn to Red Dragon. To me the others are a waste. Your better off buying the right end game gear you want.

Ape

How about:
Castle: Moth with Green Scythe
Fort: Succ without anything

I want to make my Moth uber tank, thinking of getting the Dragon heart, or should I just get the legendary weapon for succ?

Getting the end game weapon for your succubus is a much better option than getting the edh for your moth.

the trick is for your succy is you need a good formation. i didnt find it THAT hard to level mine. i used xp cards that were giving to me via events or hitting levels. i also have terrible gear AND spells. you just need a great form n p cards.

I just wanted to update everyone here. And thank everyone for their input.

Currently I am lvl 35/33 Zerk/Bus.

Original topic asked how to lvl fort faster then castle to keep up with incoming attacks but remain fighting so you can get spar.

Castle goes into auto fights alone. Just the hero. The less amount of units killed in a battle, the less amount of exp. Fort hero goes in full armada. Wipes out the whole formation. I am getting around 700exp per 6 auto arena on castle and 2500exp per 6 auto arena on fort. So she is catching up very nicely. While they both are plugging away at that ever elusive magic spar.

If you don't have end-game gear one thing you could do is to delay leveling your castle to lv38, because that puts you in attacking range of the lv45s. That way, you won't be thrown in the water hapless against all of the reputation-hungry mojo-rich max-level sharks out there.

I got the idea from a friend, who just sticks their castle at 36-37 or so. (Since you have access to all gear, and you have an XP buffer to do adventure), while leveling the fort all the way to max level.
