How is her attack determined?

When fighting another succubus, I never know which unit she will hit first. Does anyone know how her target is determined? Is it the nearest/opponent that deals most damage/?

Well.... based on my experience, she attacks the unit which is the closest to her. Like: If u put her in front of a footman and a knight. She will attack the knight because it is faster than footman. Thus making it the closer one to the succubus

hm i thought that too, but ive seen cases where the succubus hero (mid row) focuses her attacks on borgs over footmen. even when the footmen has reached their front troops and borg is still getting there haha. maybe theres other factors involved inher attack priorities

If u put her against zerker+cyborg
... she will attack the zereker first. Although he's way more further than the cyborg... You can never be sure

From my experience she attacks the strongest unit in her range. For example, when she's at the back in the middle, she'll still attack the behemoth or berserker if they are positioned to her left or right. Once they're dead, she seems to go for the next strongest unit on the field in terms of attack damage.

From my experience the following holds true for all ranged units:
- At the start of the battle, if the enemy front row is in range, the unit will start attacking the unit directly in front. If it is a 2x2 unit, it will attack the upper row it's in.
- After the start of the battle, the unit will fire at the enemy unit furthest ahead (closest to your castle) in its range.
- Ranged units do not change targets until the unit they're currently attacking is dead.
