New Level Cap

Sorry if this was posted somewhere else I couldnt find it.

Its my understanding the level cap used to be 40. But with one of the recent updates it appears it was raised cause I see lvl 44's on the leaderboard. What is the new cap? Also with the new cap will there be new spells or gear implemented into the game anytime soon?

I'm pretty sure nobody knows this yet. Its most likely level 45 or 50. We won't know until somebody reaches the highest level. I think agapr is gonna get there first. It seems like deux doesn't play as much as he used to. Maybe he's just getting bored of the game. And I doubt they will have new equipment and why would you want new equipment? Then we are gonna have to pay for the new equipment.

Yeah of course he is. Every time I check his empire he's recruiting something. Haha. I'm getting kind of bored of this game so I don't play as much. And because I have school. I'm so exhausted when I get home that I don't even check my empire anymore.
