Gem Farming

I thought we might start sharing where the hot spots are for gems. I am having good success so far with these spots. I am also trying to find levels without a ton of losses.

Life Gem(red) Loeffing Boulevard level 1
Ice Gem(blue) City of Evensnow level 1
Agility Gem(green) Fire Valley level 4

So far when I spend all 12 attempts on one level I will pick up between 2 and 4 gems a night.

Hi Ape, agree with Loeffing Boulevard and City of Evensnow since I have try many times and I can farm both gems. And thanks for your info about Fire Valley level 4 cause I need a lot of Agility gems for my Behemoth.

I lose only the 4 trolls. Occasionally I lose 1 mage. VERY rarely I lose 1 AA

I can't imagine that there is a variance between levels for gem drop rates... but maybe...

I usually farm Fire Valley #1 because I can do it with no losses. Usually get 1-2 gems and 1-2 spar.

Level 06 - No expected losses, low exp.
Level 12 - Lose fodder, low/med exp
Level 15 - Lose fodder, med exp
Level 16 - Lose fodder, low/med exp
Level 17 - Lose fodder, med exp
Level 18 - Lose fodder, med exp
Level 28 - Lose fodder, good exp

I haven't quantified the exp that one will gain from any of these levels, but from my estimates, they are all beatable with losing only footmen and trolls. I can only base this using my hero (Behemoth)

Which ever one does Fortification Gems, Black Snow Mountain I think!
